Just letting everyone know, that I will be changing blogs. This current one will not work with the current situation for me and the girls. I want to keep everyone up to speed with the girls, and once I figure out a perfect blog address for me and the girls, you will all know about it. That is another reason why I haven't posted anything in a about, um, the last 9 months or so :( Until, then, the girls and I are doing well.

We went to the mall during the holiday season (yes back in 2009) and Danielle wanted to get a picture with Santa. In 2008, she didn't want anything to do with Santa and cried and Nicole was fine... Well, it was different this year... See below... :)

So, if you haven't noticed, we do a lot of things with the Morrison Family. Bryan and Jeremy grew up together and now all the kids just love each other and we do a lot with them on the weekends. Sea Life

For Danielle's third birthday, we went to Califoria so she could meet Minnie on her birthday, Sunday.

We drove over on Black Friday (after I went shopping and Jeremy worked...lol) We didn't know if we were going to do anything Saturday because of the kids and traveling, but they did so well and slept that night. With that being said, we had all day Saturday to go explore and decided to go to Sea World. On our way to Sea World, it started pouring rain. However, we went Legoland and Sea Life (which was in doors) instead.

Schnepf Farms

We went to Schnepf Farms again this year. Danielle loved it last year and well, Nicole had no idea...lol We are making it a tradition to go and the girls loved it. So, here are some pictures.

All in all, we had a great time. Danielle was a little spooked during the night time choo-choo train ride because people scared her, but then we told her it was all pretend and those people weren't real, and she was much better. I love the vinyl sayings that go on either walls or you can put them on a board and then hang the board. There is a lady who was referred to me and I love these vinyl sayings that I got from her. You can pick your own saying, style, size, font color, whatever you want :) I got a couple done and pictures up and took a picture with my phone, so these are not too clear, but I will get more when I am all done. I just couldn't wait to post them :) Thanks Jill for the sayings.

Volleyball Coaching

I am so excited to coach high school volleyball. I applied for the job at Queen Creek High School and Florence High School, but because I was not a teacher, I was not given the job :( However, that lead me to Poston Butte High School, the new school off of Ironwood. I can't say I am the head coach of the freshman team because, again, I am not a teacher, but I am the assistant coach. The head coach tells me to run the practice and she will supervise as the teacher :) I am so excited. Club is just around the corner.

I have to say thanks to Jeremy who is helping me with this crazy schedule of me working full time and coaching and watching the girls. I love you and thank you.

Here is a little story about Danielle's pink Polo dress.

We just found out like two days before we left for the Ohio trip in 2006 that we were having a girl. We went shopping at some outlets and Jeremy saw this dress and couldn't pass it up. The first time Danielle wore it was Easter in 2008 and it was a little big for her but now in 2009, it's starting to get a little small. However, Danielle has gotten a lot of use out of it before it goes to Nicole :) I love the hand-me-downs...

We didn't do much for the 4th, actually just stayed inside in the cool...

The girls had matching shirts that my parents gave them and I wanted to get pictures of them together. Yvonne, who I play Bunco with, does photography and she did our family pictures back in March, and she did the girls 4th of July pictures. While I was at the Miss Arizona pageant in June, the girls went in the pool at Mamma and Pappa Weeks' house. Nicole had been in the water before but this was the first time in the pool, and it looked like she loved it. Danielle is becoming a pro at swimming. Here are some pictures.

My Grandma (dad's mom) came down from Utah for a couple of weeks. So, I took a day off of work to spend time with her and with the kids at my parents house. Here are some pictures.

Father's Day

We had a great time on Father's Day this year. Jeremy's favorite game of all time, is Mike Tyson's Punch Out, and if you know him, he can play that game all day and win everytime...lol Well, the Wii came out with, of course, a new version of the game. I actually got it for him a couple of weeks ago, so I will have to take a picture of him playing it and post it.

So, we went to Red Lobster for Father's Day. Yes, I only had chicken since I don't eat seafood...lol

Danielle tried a little bit of seafood and loved it.

Nicole loved the Mac-N-Cheese that we ordered for Danielle. She looks a little confused right here...lol

Then we had some dessert. As you can tell, the girls LOVED it. I have to admit, it was pretty good :)

5 year wedding anniversary June 4th.

So, Jeremy and I have been married for 5 years now. Seems like yesterday he was picking out my pageant shoes for Miss Arizona. For those of you who don't know, Jeremy and I started dating the week I was doing a Miss AZ Preliminary and then for the Miss AZ in June. I needed to do a lot of shopping for the June Pageant and he decided to go with me... Such a sweetheart. I knew I had a great catch. So, he found my dress shoes and they were perfect. Granted, I have never worn them since the pageant but I still have them just in case... :)

That was a little off topic, but anyways...

It was five years ago that we walked down the aisle together at the Wright House in Mesa. We took so many pictures, talked with friends and family, had our first dance and loved every minute of that day. We have come a long ways since then and know we are getting stronger and stronger as a couple (and now a family) each and every day. We have 2 beautiful daughters and I look forward to raising them with Jeremy and living our lives. I love you more than anything, sweetheart.

So, a little recap of what happened on our 5th wedding anniversary...

I was sitting at work on June 4, 2009 and having a rough day... Then, all of the sudden, someone at work walks in with a box for me. I opened it and out came 18 roses and a vase. He got me roses :) It was the best surprise ever.

We went to Carrabas (spelling??) for dinner. We had never had it before and kept saying we wanted to try it. Well, it was fantastic. Since it was our first time there, they brought over appetizers and it was YUMMY. So, anyone who has never been to Carrabas and likes Italian food, it's great. You will have left overs for sure.

I look forward to another 5, 10, 15 and many more anniversaries. Love you.

We went over to my parents house on Saturday (in the way west valley) and spent the night. The girls had a great time with one set of Mamma and Pappa (Danielle calls both sets of grandparents - Mamma and Pappa)

Nicole Update

So, our little Nicole is 9 months old (as of April 2nd). She is army crawling everywhere. I put her down in the middle of the room and the next thing I know, she is by my feet in the kitchen. She is so fast. She also loves Danielle's crocs, so we will need to get some crocs for her.

I take her in about 2 weeks for her 9 month appointment, so I will let everyone know how that went.

Nicole is also eating more solids and loves it. She is not a big fan of veggies, but who is??? She loves fruit and she is so interested in what Jeremy and I are eating, so it's going to be fun to have both girls eating big kid food.

She is not spitting up with this new formula. We changed formula back in November from Similac (which Danielle was on and didn't have any problems) to Enfamil and it has been amazing for Nicole. She holds the bottle by herself and then she will give you a little burp and is off to play or go to sleep. Nicole is also an amazing sleeper. Both girls are great sleepers and we have been so lucky that they both sleep through the night.

Danielle Update

So, I know I havent' posted anything but pictures lately. So, here is some updates on Danielle.

She is getting potty trained :) I think it is more exciting for me and Jeremy than her. That means, no more diapers :) yipee..... Danielle is so excited to go on the potty and put her pull-up on. I put her on every morning before we leave the house and the past week, has gone everyday. Then she will tell our babysitter that she needs to go at their house and they take her in. She has even gone in the bathroom by herself. Such a big girl. She even told Mama Weeks that she needed to go poop and they went into the potty and she went :) I know mom's reading this totally understand our excitement...lol :)

We put a sticker on each day that she uses the potty and last week was full of stickers. Our next step is staying dry in our pull ups and then moving on to the big girl underwear.

I can't believe our little Nicole is 6 months old already. Here is her 6 month old picture. I take her to the doctor on Thursday, so I will let everyone know how that visit goes.

So, I took Nicole to the doctor this Thursday and she is 16 pounds and 26 inches long. She gained 2 pounds and grew 2 inches in the last two months. She is healthy and did great with her shots.

We had a great time with all of the cousins, mamma and pappa Eastin, and great-granny Grace from Utah. We spent Christmas day and night at their house and came home on the 26th. The girls had a great time, as so did we, with all of the family. It's so much to get together with my brother and sister and their kids all in one house. It was kind of hectic at times, but overall, everyone had a great time...

Santa Pictures Part One

So, our babysitter said that Santa was going to be at Barros Pizza and I thought it would be a good idea to see if Danielle was going to sit on his lap before we took a picture with him at the mall. As you can see, Nicole had no problem with Santa. However, Danielle was clinging to me the whole time. I could not put her near him without me. Needless to say, I had to jump in the picture (and I was not ready for a picture that day) but you can tell Danielle is still thinking if she likes Santa or not.

Danielle 2 year appointment

Danielle had her two year appointment today. She did really well and had two shots, one for Hep A and the other was a flu shot. She cried a little and then realized she had cool band-aids and she was fine.

I hear that if you take your child's height at 2 years old and double it, then that is around how tall they would be. So, I tried it.

She is 35" and doubled would be 70" and divide by 12" for the feet and we come up with 5'8". That would be kinda of accurate since I am 5'7" (I still say I am 5'8"...lol) and Jeremy is 5'9" or maybe 5'10" (I don't even know...lol).

So, I guess we will just have to see when she is an adult to see if that 2 year old thing is really true :)

A co-worker of mine saw Nicole's picture that our babysitter took and mentioned to me that I should enter her into this contest. I didn't do anything like this with Danielle, as I didn't know about it, so I didn't think I should put Nicole in if I didn't put Danielle in. After looking at the website, I noticed that they pick winners each month, so I decided to put Nicole in for this month and then Danielle in for next month. So, most of you all know that I used to twirl baton from the age of three up until I was about 15. There is a competition around Halloween time that you can enter, but you have to be in your halloween costume and the judge will pick their favorite. My sister and I used to do these when we were twirling and now our daughters are in it. That just sounds weird :) But this year, Danielle was Belle and my neice was a cat.

Now here is a picture of me, maybe when I was 4 years old, in the house I grew up. Who knows if Danielle or even Nicole will follow in my foot-steps. I am sure grandma would love to make costumes for them...

So people say I don't post enough information or pictures, and I don't. So I am trying to do better now :) I have to start somewhere... :)

The Man I Married

1. What is his name? Jeremy

2. Who eats more? He does. (Unless I am pregnant…lol)

3. Who said I love you first? I did

4. Who is taller? He is.

5. Who is smarter? He is and luckily that gene passed down to our children 

6. Who is more sensitive? I am. It doesn't take much to make me cry.

7.Who does the laundry? I do.

8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? He does.

9. Who pays the bills? He does.

10. Who cooks more? Cook? What is that??? Well, he is the master of grilling so we grill a lot and I make the side dishes. It’s more of a pour and let it cook while he is grilling.

11. What meals do you cook together? Whatever needs to be done.

12. Who is more stubborn? I say he is and he says I am, but we both are 

13. Who is the first to admit they're wrong? Probably me for the most part.

14. Who has more siblings? Me. 3 kids total.

15. Who wears the pants in the relationship? I think I do but he does 

16. What do you like to do together? Anything with the girls, watch our recorded shows and have our date night every Friday night, even if it means going home and laying on the couch and not do anything.

17. Who eats more sweets? He can live on Chocolate.

18. Who proposed? He did. After watching Miss Arizona, we were by his truck and he got on one knee and said, “Instead of being Miss Arizona, would you like to be Mrs. Weeks instead????” Of course I said yes. It didn’t hit me until we got into his truck and then I just started crying.

19. His best features? Eyes, smile

20. What is his greatest quality? Always putting up with me 

Halloween 2008 Schnepf Farms

We went to Schnepf Farms for Danielle to pick her pumpkin and go on some rides.

Danielle then had to pick Nicole a pumpkin.

We got a call from the Scottsdale hospital at 4am on 7-2-08. I was already up with Danielle and she was almost back to sleep when the phone rang. We think she knew what was going on and didn't want to miss anything. Grandpa and Grandma Weeks came over to watch Danielle and bring her to the hospital later and we left. We couldn't believe the day had finally arrived. I think I was the most excited as I was done with being pregnant and wanted to meet our little Nicole.

My doctor broke my water at 7:30 am and Nicole arrived at 11:17am. Much faster than Danielle's labor. Everything was fine and I even had to wait for my doctor to arrive since we all thought Nicole was going to arrive around dinner time, not lunch time. My doctor arrived and I pushed abour 3 times and Nicole arrived at 8 pounds, 21 inches.

We found out yesterday that Danielle is going to have a little sister. Jeremy is now thinking about another wedding, prom season, dance classes, etc., everything that goes with having a girl. We are very excited that Danielle is going to have someone to be best friends with and I am sure worst enemies at some point in our life. The new baby is growing and is very healthy. We are looking at July 3rd, or somewhere around there, to meet our new addition. It is amazing to see the ultrasound profile of this baby because it looks so similar to Danielle.

1st Birthday

We had Danielle's first birthday party on 12-2-07 at our house. She was not feeling well and was on my hip most of the time. We went through with the party and the kids had a great time in the princess jumper and thank you to everyone who came and for her presents. She has been so entertained with her presents and we love seeing her figure things out on her own. Other than her ear infection and temperature, it was a good party. We can't believe she is already one and we have another baby on the way...

We had our precious baby Danielle on 11-29-06 at 3:50 in the afternoon. She will turn 1 on Thursday. Time has flown by. She lights up everytime we walk in the babysitter's house to pick her up. We do not like leaving her during the day but our days are so much better when we get her at night.
